What is the difference between inside and outside mouthpieces?

When it comes to Shisha Mouthpieces or shisha mouth tips there are two types:

1. ‘Inside’ Mouthpieces
2. ‘Outside’ Mouthpieces

It is a common mistake to think that these names are in reference to outdoor or indoor locations. However, this name is in respect to whether the shisha mouthpieces wrap around the hose (Outside / Female) or slot inside the hose (Inside / Male).
